Cosmic Workshop Terms of Service

Welcome to Cosmic Workshop! By placing an order with us, you agree to the following terms. Please read them carefully.

1. Custom Orders
All our items are bespoke, crafted to your specifications. Once your order is confirmed, you have 24 hours to make changes or cancel. After this period, materials may have been purchased, and work may have started, making cancellations or refunds limited (see our Returns & Refunds Policy).

2. Payment Terms
Payment must be made in full at the time of ordering. We are happy to discuss payment plans, so don't be shy about asking!  Work on all items begins only after payment is received.

If you are utilising our payment plan option, all payments are immediately non refundable.  If you decide to cancel your order at any point during the payment scheme agreed, all work and materials remain the property of Cosmic Workshop and payments already completed are non refundable.

3. Measurements and Fit
You are responsible for providing accurate measurements. We recommend having someone assist you and wearing your costume (if applicable) while measuring. If an item doesn’t fit due to incorrect measurements provided, it is not eligible for a refund. However, we’re happy to discuss possible alterations at an additional cost.

4. Intellectual Property
Costume designs from outside properties remain their copyright, we reproduce faithfully and to their own high standards with the greatest of respect.  All original adaptations or OC character designs, images, and content created by Cosmic Workshop remain our intellectual property unless otherwise agreed in writing. You may not reproduce, copy, or sell our designs without permission.

5. Shipping and Delivery
We carefully package and ship all items. Once your order leaves our workshop, we’re not responsible for delays or damage caused during transit, though we’ll assist with courier claims where possible.  Please note that once your order leaves our workshop and enters the postage or courier systems, legally, it is no longer our property so we are unable to help with tracking any further than providing you with the details we have such as proof of shipping and tracking numbers.

6. Returns and Refunds
Please refer to our Returns & Refunds Policy for detailed information on returns, cancellations, and refunds.

7. Limitation of Liability
Cosmic Workshop is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use or misuse of our products. Our liability is limited to the purchase price of the item.

8. Dispute Resolution
If an issue arises, please contact us directly to resolve it amicably. If needed, disputes will be governed by the laws of the United Kingdom, and any legal proceedings will take place in the UK.

9. Changes to Terms
We reserve the right to update these Terms of Service at any time. Changes will be posted on our website and will apply to future orders.
