First up...The Process!

  • 1 - INITIAL CONTACT

    Contact us with what leather work you are interested in commissioning us to make. -Information that we find useful includes knowing what character you want to become, what the source material is and any changes or adaptations you require. If it is a unique design that is personal to yourself, sketches and some inspiration images for what vibes you are looking to achieve. An important detail to us is deadlines. We have limited build time each month and we would not want to take you through this process if the deadline for your shoot, production or event is one we are unable to meet.

  • 2 - MISSION INITIATED

    Once you share your vision with us, we immerse ourselves in researching your character’s history, story arcs and costume nuances. At Cosmic Workshop we don’t create “off-the-rack” leatherwork; we collaborate with you to craft heirloom-quality pieces that truly tell a story and draw people in. Every element is meticulously considered yet deeply personal. From subtle Easter eggs and layers of character depth, to heartfelt touches that only you might recognise so that your piece feels both striking and uniquely yours.

  • 3 - DECISIONS ARE MADE

    As with everything at Cosmic Workshop, this stage is all about you. By now we’ll have talked through your ideas and provided a clear, detailed quote for bringing your vision to life. The next step is entirely yours. You are free to go ahead or to pass.

    We never apply pressure, but we do appreciate a quick note if you decide not to proceed, as we reserve workshop time while preparing your quote and can easily release it for another client.

    If spreading the cost helps make your dream a reality, we’re happy to arrange a payment plan. Just let us know and we’ll work together on something that suits us both.

WE DON'T DO HIDDEN SMALL PRINT SO READ ON!

Transparency matters to us. To give your project the time and focus it deserves, we charge a £10 fee for preparing quotes. This allows us to research, cost and plan your piece accurately for both of us. If you go ahead, that £10 is then deducted from your final total.

Quotes are valid for one month from the date you receive them; after that, materials or labour costs may change but we will happily update the quote if needed for no extra charge.

Throughout the build we’ll keep you in the loop with weekly progress updates.

We may also share images of works in progress as part of our marketing and social media, but never anything that would spoil a reveal or break your confidentiality.

If you’d prefer your project to stay completely private, just let us know and we’ll respect that.
