This was a commission early on in our career for a comic book character named Huntress. We custom mixed the purple dye to match the comic strip sent to us and it has all functioning pouches and hand stitched detailing.

After reading Good Omens by Terry Pratchett and Neil Gaiman, the character of War (red headed horseman of the Apocalypse) struck us as a good inspiration point for the armoured corset that we had in development! The battle worn look was achieved through a jigsaw of different leather types, as if patchworked back together after a good bloodthirsty conflict, and re-enforced on the front with a solid brass decorative plate. Small skull beads added an extra flourish and nod to her fellow horseman, and removable pauldrons really brought the look together. This was so much fun to make and now belongs to a lovely LARPer after going on tour with us for several years as a show piece.

We were asked to reproduce this gorgeous design for Achilles for a costumer in 2017 and we were very pleased with being able to integrate so many techniques into one costume! Hardware such as buckles aside, the whole costume is 100% leather. A few years ago we perfected a technique for producing an effect that mimics metal for leather, without the side effect of it rubbing off (which is the problem with using products such as rub n buff). We also used embossing, debossing, tooling, hand dyed pieces, trimming, wet forming and a variety of fastening methods, some hidden, some not. Needless to say the customer looked the part as he works hard to develop the body type to go with the
